The Roselle Catholic Lions basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Union Catholic Vikings to 41 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 6-8 record.

The Vikings (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Scotch Plains-Fanwood ran past Hillside (Hillside, NJ), 74-19, in a non-league contest.
