Albany Lions (Albany, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cisco Loboes (Cisco, TX), 46-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Albany upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Hawley (Hawley, TX) to play the Bearcats in a 2A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Bearcats come into the bout with a record of 10-3. Hawley won 47-18 in their recent league bout against Hamlin (Hamlin, TX)

Next up, the Loboes play the Stamford Bulldogs (Stamford, TX) in a 2A Region II District 10 bout, on Monday, February 13. Cisco will attempt to upgrade on its 20-7 season record.
