The Alvord Bulldogs basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Tioga to 27 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sam Rayburn for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Alvord will battle a Rebels team coming off a 48-33 league win over Whitewright (Whitewright, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 25-6.

The (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Muenster (Muenster, TX). The Hornets enter the 2A Region II District 13 contest with a 20-8 record. In their last contest, Muenster ran past Chico (Chico, TX), 55-30, in a league contest.
