The Anson Bearcats basketball team (Wadesboro, NC), was overwhelmed 79-44 in Friday's league battle with the host Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC)

The Wolf Pack now possess a 19-5 record.

The Bearcats (9-14) will now prepare for their battle against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league battle with a 8-16 record. In their last battle, Forest Hills trounced Monroe (Monroe, NC), 62-48, in a league battle.
