Wauconda Bulldogs (Wauconda, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL), 64-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Wauconda upgrades its record to 14-11 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL) to play the Rams in a Northern Lake County bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 24-5. Grayslake Central lost 75-69 in their recent non-league bout against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL)

Next up, the Sequoits play the Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 11. Antioch will attempt to upgrade on its 14-13 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 17-8 record after their 74-61 league win over Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL).
