Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA) and the host Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA), saw Gretna's basketball squad hold off Appomattox County by a tally of 52-50.

With the victory, Gretna improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign.
