In Friday's league outing, the Archer City Wildcats (Archer City, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Windthorst Trojans (Windthorst, TX), by a margin of 55-30.

The Wildcats (17-12) will now prepare for their outing against Nocona (Nocona, TX). The Indians go into the 2A Region II District 9 outing with a 20-11 record. In their last outing, Nocona smashed Petrolia (Petrolia, TX), 56-47, in a league outing.

The Trojans now own a 9-19 record. They play next when they travel to Olney for a 2A Region II District 9 outing on Tuesday, February 14. Windthorst will clash with a Cubs squad coming off a 62-25 league loss to Seymour (Seymour, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 7-26.
