Armada Tigers (Armada, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host North Branch Broncos (North Branch, MI), 57-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Armada upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Yale (Yale, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a Blue Water Area bout on Friday, February 17. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 11-5.

Next up, the Broncos play the Millington Cardinals (Millington, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. North Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 65-52 league win over Bullock Creek (Midland, MI).
