The Carson City-Crystal Eagles (Carson City, MI) basketball crushed the host Ashley Bears (Ashley, MI), 60-38 in Friday's league test.

The Eagles (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Irish go into the Mid-State test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Sacred Heart Academy was trounced by Montabella (Blanchard, MI), 55-40, in a league test.

The Bears now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they travel to St. Charles for a Mid-State test on Tuesday, February 14. Ashley will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 56-30 league loss to Fulton (Middleton, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-13.
