In Friday's league match, the host Avalon Eagles basketball team scored a decisive 63-26 triumph over the Coolidge Yellowjackets.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Trinidad Trojans (Trinidad, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 26 match, on Monday, February 13. Avalon will attempt to move on its 16-10 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 4-15 record after their 73-30 league loss to Penelope (Penelope, TX).
