Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Washington Pam Pack (Washington, NC) and the visiting Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC), saw Washington's basketball squad wallop Ayden - Grifton by a tally of 91-63.
With the victory, Washington improves its record to 12-12 on the campaign. The Pam Pack host SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 13. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 7-14. SouthWest Edgecombe won 75-70 in their recent league challenge against West Craven (Vanceboro, NC)
Next up, the Chargers play the Greene Central Rams (Snow Hill, NC) in a 2A Conference 4 challenge, on Monday, February 13. Ayden - Grifton will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 19-5 record after their 85-75 league loss to Farmville Central (Farmville, NC).
