In Friday's league outing, the Ayer Shirley Panthers (Ayer, MA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Tahanto Regional Stags (Boylston, MA), by a margin of 77-54.

The Panthers (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against West Boylston (West Boylston, MA). The Lions go into the Midland-Wachusett E outing with a 0-16 record. In their last outing, West Boylston was trounced by Narragansett Regional (Baldwinville, MA), 44-40, in a league outing.

The Stags now own a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bromfield for a non-league outing on Monday, February 13. Tahanto Regional will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 67-42 non-league loss to Gardner (Gardner, MA). The Trojans record now stands at 12-5.
