The Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) basketball crushed the host Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), 84-36 in Friday's league test.
The Bengals (17-7) will now prepare for their test against Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Broncos go into the 4A District 1 test with a 17-7 record. In their last test, Kirtland Central walloped Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM), 65-39, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 5-19 record. They play next when they host Miyamura for a 4A District 1 test on Tuesday, February 14. Aztec will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 51-49 league loss to Shiprock (Shiprock, NM). The Patriots record now stands at 7-17.
