Clyde Bulldogs (Clyde, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ballinger Bearcats (Ballinger, TX), 69-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Clyde upgrades its record to 21-10 on the season. The Bulldogs host Coahoma (Coahoma, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 15-14. Coahoma won 90-42 in their recent league bout against Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Jim Ned Indians (Tuscola, TX) in a 3A Region I District 6 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Ballinger will attempt to upgrade on its 10-21 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 21-12 record after their 54-46 league loss to Wall (Wall, TX).
