Kentucky High School Basketball - Monroe County can't hold off Barren County

The Barren County Trojans basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Monroe County Falcons to 51 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Metcalfe County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 14. Barren County will battle a Hornets team coming off a 55-53 non-league loss to Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 9-17.
The Falcons (14-10) will now prepare for their contest against Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY). The Gators enter the non-league contest with a 6-21 record. In their last contest, Greenwood was nudged by Warren East (Bowling Green, KY), 61-60, in a league contest.
