The Bartlett Hawks (Bartlett, IL) basketball nipped the host Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL), 55-53 in Friday's league test.

The Hawks (18-11) will now prepare for their test against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Rams go into the Upstate Eight test with a 8-22 record. In their last test, Glenbard East was tipped by Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL), 72-68, in a non-league test.

The Royals now own a 14-15 record. They play next when they travel to Glenbard South for a Upstate Eight test on Tuesday, February 14. Larkin will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 69-35 league win over Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 16-11.
