Beal City Aggies (Mt. Pleasant, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Houghton Lake Bobcats (Houghton Lake, MI), 59-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Beal City upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Aggies travel to Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, February 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Chippewa Hills lost 64-43 in their recent league bout against Grant (Grant, MI)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Evart Wildcats (Evart, MI) in a Highland bout, on Wednesday, February 15. Houghton Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record.
