Massachusetts High School Basketball - Belmont can't hold off Woburn Memorial

The Woburn Memorial Tanners basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Belmont Marauders to 51 in the Tanners league triumph on Friday.
The Tanners now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arlington for a Middlesex contest on Tuesday, February 14. Woburn Memorial will battle a Spy Ponders team coming off a 60-58 league loss to Reading Memorial (Reading, MA). The Spy Ponders record now stands at 12-6.
The Marauders (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Charlestown (Charlestown, MA). The Townies enter the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Charlestown nudged Brighton (Brighton, MA), 95-20, in a league contest.
