Bishop Ward Cyclones (Kansas City, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kansas City Christian School Panthers (Prairie Village, KS), 70-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bishop Ward upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Cyclones travel to Heritage Christian Academy (Olathe, KS) to clash with the Chargers in a Crossroads bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Heritage Christian Academy won 70-45 in their recent non-league bout against Maranatha Christian Academy (Shawnee, KS)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Heritage Christian Academy Chargers (Olathe, KS) in a Crossroads bout, on Friday, February 17. Kansas City Christian School will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record.
