The Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Lamar Vikings (Arlington, TX), 21-0 in Friday's league test.
The Volunteers (11-17) will now prepare for their test against Martin (Arlington, TX). The Warriors go into the 6A Region I District 8 test with a 27-4 record. In their last test, Martin walloped Arlington (Arlington, TX), 91-63, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 4-24 record. They play next when they host South Grand Prairie for a 6A Region I District 8 test on Tuesday, February 14. Lamar will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 52-47 league win over Bowie (Arlington, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 19-13.
