Bristol Eastern Lancers (Bristol, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Plainville Blue Devils (Plainville, CT), 64-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Bristol Eastern upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Lancers travel to Southington (Southington, CT) to play the Blue Knights in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Blue Knights go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Southington won 71-37 in their recent non-league bout against East Lyme (East Lyme, CT)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Plainville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 67-61 non-league loss to Lewis Mills (Burlington, CT).
