The Burnsville Blaze (Burnsville, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN), 76-64 in Friday's league test.
The Blaze (9-11) will now prepare for their test against Eagan (Eagan, MN). The Wildcats go into the AAAA Section 3 test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Eagan notched a victory over Shakopee (Shakopee, MN), 76-64, in a non-league test.
The Lightning now own a 13-5 record. They play next when they host Lakeville North for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14. Eastview will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 92-77 league win over Farmington (Farmington, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 16-2.
