Fans at Friday's league challenge between the South Shore Cardinals (Port Wing, WI) and the visiting Butternut Midgets (Butternut, WI), saw South Shore's basketball squad wallop Butternut by a count of 69-34.

With the victory, South Shore upgrades its record to 7-14 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Drummond (Drummond, WI) to play the Lumberjacks in a Indianhead challenge on Friday, February 17. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a record of 14-4. Drummond lost 51-36 in their recent league challenge against Solon Springs (Solon Springs, WI)

Next up, the Midgets play the White Lake Lakers (White Lake, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Butternut will attempt to upgrade on its 1-20 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 86-64 league win over Gresham Community (Gresham, WI).
