In Friday's league match, the host Central Spartans basketball team scored a good 56-36 triumph over the Southwest EC Eagles.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns (Vista, CA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 14. Central will attempt to move on its 18-9 season record. The Longhorns enter the match with a 18-10 record after their 89-70 league loss to Ramona (Ramona, CA).
With the defeat, Southwest EC moves to 2-24 on the year.
