The Sidney Red Raiders basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Chadron Cardinals to 60 in the Red Raiders league victory on Friday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holdrege for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Sidney will battle a Dusters team coming off a 48-36 non-league loss to St. Paul (St. Paul, NE). The Dusters record now stands at 12-8.
The Cardinals (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Potter-Dix (Potter, NE). The Coyotes come into the non-league contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Potter-Dix prevailed over Hyannis (Hyannis, NE), 54-52, in a non-league contest.
