Cheney Cardinals (Cheney, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Trinity Academy Knights (Wichita, KS), 73-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cheney upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Medicine Lodge (Medicine Lodge, KS) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 13-4. Medicine Lodge won 39-33 in their recent non-league bout against Douglass (Douglass, KS)

Next up, the Knights play the Conway Springs Cardinals (Conway Springs, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Trinity Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 61-44 non-league loss to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, KS).
