Churchill Lancers (Eugene, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Eagle Point Eagles (Eagle Point, OR), 61-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Churchill upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Lancers host Springfield (Springfield, OR) to play the Millers in a 5A Midwestern bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Millers go into the bout with a record of 2-15. Springfield lost 57-30 in their recent league bout against Ashland (Ashland, OR)

Next up, the Eagles play the Ashland Grizzlies (Ashland, OR) in a 5A Midwestern bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Eagle Point will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 57-30 league win over Springfield (Springfield, OR).
