Marysville Bulldogs (Marysville, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Clay Center Tigers (Clay Center, KS), 52-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marysville upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Chapman (Chapman, KS) to play the Fighting Irish in a North Central Kansas bout on Friday, February 17. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 4-13.

Next up, the Tigers play the Wamego Red Raiders (Wamego, KS) in a North Central Kansas bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Clay Center will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 65-57 non-league loss to Abilene (Abilene, KS).
