In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Coalfield Yellow Jackets basketball team scored a tight 62-59 triumph over the Oakdale Eagles.
In their next game, the Yellow Jackets meet the Oliver Springs Bobcats (Oliver Springs, TN) in a 1A District 3 match, on Friday, February 17. Coalfield will attempt to better on its 7-16 season record.
With the defeat, Oakdale moves to 10-14 on the year.
