Franklin Knights (Franklin, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Corry Beavers (Corry, PA), 62-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Franklin upgrades its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA) to play the Eagles in a District 10 Region 5 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 2-16. Conneaut Area lost 64-33 in their recent league bout against Oil City (Oil City, PA)

Next up, the Beavers play the Titusville Rockets (Titusville, PA) in a District 10 Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Corry will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 84-48 league loss to Warren (Warren, PA).
