The King George Foxes (King George, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Courtland Cougars (Spotsylvania, VA), 57-46 in Friday's league test.
The Foxes (18-4) will now prepare for their test against Caroline (Milford, VA). The Cavaliers go into the Battlefield test with a 13-9 record. In their last test, Caroline notched a victory over Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA), 59-54, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern View for a Battlefield test on Monday, February 13. Courtland will encounter a Cyclones squad coming off a 82-54 league win over Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA). The Cyclones record now stands at 12-9.
