The Lone Star Rangers basketball team scored 89 points and restricted the host Creekview Mustangs to 45 in the Rangers league victory on Friday.

The Rangers now sport a 17-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frisco for a 5A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, February 14. Lone Star will battle a Raccoons team coming off a 64-48 league win over Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX). The Raccoons record now stands at 14-14.

The Mustangs (4-22) will now prepare for their contest against Turner (Carrollton, TX). The Lions come into the 5A Region II District 9 contest with a 2-26 record. In their last contest, Turner was routed by The Colony (The Colony, TX), 76-52, in a league contest.
