The North Hopkins Panthers (Sulphur Springs, TX) basketball crushed the host Cumby Trojans (Cumby, TX), 79-48 in Friday's league test.
The Panthers (25-6) will now prepare for their test against Tyler HEAT (Tyler, TX). The go into the non-league test with a 26-10 record. In their last test, Tyler HEAT walloped CHAAMP HomeSchool (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 64-44, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 10-13 record. They play next when they travel to Como-Pickton for a 2A Region II District 15 test on Tuesday, February 14. Cumby will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 46-38 league win over Alba-Golden (Alba, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 13-18.
