The Danville Admirals (Danville, KY) basketball nipped the host Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY), 57-55 in Friday's league test.
The Admirals (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Russell County (Russell Springs, KY). The Lakers go into the non-league test with a 5-15 record. In their last test, Russell County was tipped by Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY), 86-77, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 15-5 record. They play next when they host Mercer County for a non-league test on Saturday, February 11. Lincoln County will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 69-65 non-league loss to Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY). The Titans record now stands at 6-13.
