The Economedes Jaguars (Edinburg, TX) basketball knocked off the host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Bears (San Juan, TX), 46-34 in Friday's league test.
The Jaguars (15-19) will now prepare for their test against Edinburg (Edinburg, TX). The Bobcats go into the 6A Region IV District 31 test with a 24-10 record. In their last test, Edinburg notched a victory over Mission (Mission, TX), 67-60, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 8-26 record. They play next when they travel to La Joya for a 6A Region IV District 31 test on Monday, February 13. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo will encounter a Coyotes squad coming off a 55-53 league loss to Edinburg North (Edinburg, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 24-12.
