Texas High School Basketball - Fabens knocked off by Riverside

The Riverside Rangers basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Fabens Wildcats to 43 in the Rangers league triumph on Friday.

The Rangers now sport a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain View for a 4A Region I District 2 contest on Tuesday, February 14. Riverside will meet a Lobos team coming off a 58-50 non-league loss to Immanuel Christian (El Paso, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 6-24.

The Wildcats (6-20) will now prepare for their contest against Clint (Clint, TX). The Lions enter the 4A Region I District 2 contest with a 4-21 record. In their last contest, Clint ran past San Elizario (San Elizario, TX), 48-43, in a league contest.
