The First Baptist School Hurricanes (Charleston, SC) basketball knocked off the visiting Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC), 72-61 in Friday's league test.

The Hurricanes (18-4) will now prepare for their test against Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 22-3 record. In their last test, Hilton Head Christian Academy went down by Hilton Head Prep (Hilton Head Island, SC), 53-41, in a league test.

The Cyclones now own a 18-10 record. They play next when they host Cathedral Academy for a non-league test on Monday, February 13. Porter-Gaud will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 73-62 league win over St. John's Christian Academy (Moncks Corner, SC). The Generals record now stands at 19-11.
