The Grand Saline Indians (Grand Saline, TX) basketball nipped the host Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX), 55-50 in Friday's league test.

The Indians (18-13) will now prepare for their test against Chisum (Paris, TX). The Mustangs go into the 3A Region II District 12 test with a 6-19 record. In their last test, Chisum was tipped by Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX), 48-36, in a league test.

The Buffaloes now own a 6-24 record. They play next when they travel to Rains for a 3A Region II District 12 test on Tuesday, February 14. Lone Oak will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 47-33 league loss to Prairiland (Pattonville, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-15.
