The Great Bridge Wildcats basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Hickory Hawks to 45 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deep Creek for a Southeastern contest on Tuesday, February 14. Great Bridge will meet a Hornets team coming off a 63-54 league loss to Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 5-16.

The Hawks (0-21) will now prepare for their contest against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies enter the Southeastern contest with a 10-12 record. In their last game, Grassfield routed Indian River (Chesapeake, VA), 77-66, in a league game.
