With the victory, Great Hearts Monte Vista upgrades its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The host Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 3A Region IV District 26 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 21-5. Nixon-Smiley won 46-31 in their recent league bout against Marion (Marion, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Randolph Ro-Hawks (Universal City, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 26 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Luling will attempt to upgrade on its 15-16 season record. The Ro-Hawks come into the bout with a 13-9 record after their 35-25 league loss to Cole (San Antonio, TX).
