West Virginia High School Basketball - Summers County can't hold off Greenbrier West

The Greenbrier West Cavaliers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Summers County Bobcats to 53 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host James Monroe for a Coalfield A contest on Tuesday, February 14. Greenbrier West will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 68-56 non-league win over Bluefield (Bluefield, WV). The Mavericks record now stands at 17-2.
The Bobcats (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Meadow Bridge (Meadow Bridge, WV). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Meadow Bridge was nudged by Sherman (Seth, WV), 58-39, in a non-league contest.
