The Greene County Tech Golden Eagles (Paragould, AR) basketball felled the host Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR), 62-47 in Friday's league test.
The Golden Eagles (21-7) will now prepare for their test against Searcy (Searcy, AR). The Lions go into the 5A East test with a 15-11 record. In their last test, Searcy was beaten by Marion (Marion, AR), 52-46, in a league test.
The Blazers now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to West Memphis for a 5A East test on Tuesday, February 14. Valley View will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 55-46 league loss to Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-15.
