Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hall Red Devils (Spring Valley, IL), 57-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Kewanee upgrades its record to 14-12 on the campaign. The Boilermakers host Sherrard (Sherrard, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 15-9. Sherrard won 56-49 in their recent league bout against Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 9-19 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 14-15 record after their 62-53 non-league win over Momence (Momence, IL).
