The Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY) basketball crushed the host Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY), 73-41 in Friday's league test.
The Thorobreds (22-3) will now prepare for their test against Woodford County (Versailles, KY). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Woodford County was trounced by Mason County (Maysville, KY), 77-56, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 5-18 record. They play next when they host Carroll County for a non-league test on Saturday, February 11. Pendleton County will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 80-60 non-league loss to Ludlow (Ludlow, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 6-15.
