Hereford Whitefaces (Hereford, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Perryton Rangers (Perryton, TX), 66-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Hereford upgrades its record to 20-7 on the season. The Whitefaces travel to Borger (Borger, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A Region I District 4 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-21.

Next up, the Rangers play the Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX) in a 4A Region I District 4 bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Perryton will attempt to upgrade on its 12-14 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 23-2 record after their 84-35 league win over Dumas (Dumas, TX).
