West Virginia High School Basketball - Independence knocked off by Liberty

The Liberty Raiders basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Independence Patriots to 57 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.
The Raiders now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln County for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 11. Liberty will meet a Panthers team coming off a 32-22 non-league loss to Mingo Central (Matewan, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 7-10.
The Patriots (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Richwood (Richwood, WV). The Lumberjacks enter the non-league contest with a 1-15 record.
