The Marist Spartans basketball team (Eugene, OR), was routed 56-31 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Junction City Tigers (Junction City, OR)
The Tigers now sport a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cottage Grove for a 4A Sky Em battle on Tuesday, February 14. Junction City will battle a Lions team coming off a 60-47 league loss to North Bend (North Bend, OR). The Lions record now stands at 11-11.
The Spartans (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR). The Pirates come into the 4A Sky Em battle with a 10-11 record. In their last battle, Marshfield trounced Newport (Newport, OR), 60-55, in a non-league battle.
