The Cougars now possess a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grady for a 1A Region I District 8 battle on Tuesday, February 14. Klondike will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 77-24 league win over Wellman-Union (Wellman, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-5.

The Wildcats (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Sands (Ackerly, TX). The Mustangs come into the 1A Region I District 8 battle with a 16-15 record. In their last battle, Sands trounced Loop (Loop, TX), 75-25, in a league battle.
