Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), 63-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Southern Lee upgrades its record to 10-14 on the season.

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 13. Lee County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record. The Fighting Scots go into the bout with a 17-7 record after their 69-42 league loss to Richmond (Rockingham, NC).
