The Port Arthur Memorial Titans basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Lee Ganders to 35 in the Titans league victory on Friday.

The Titans now sport a 26-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Goose Creek Memorial for a 5A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, February 14. Port Arthur Memorial will battle a Patriots team coming off a 54-44 league win over Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 19-15.

The Ganders (11-19) will now prepare for their contest against Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Eagles come into the 5A Region III District 17 contest with a 27-6 record. In their last contest, Barbers Hill triumphed over Crosby (Crosby, TX), 52-46, in a league contest.
